Why Do I Clean Out My Closet So Often?

One of the previous articles submitted inspired me to step into my closet once again and clear out some of the items that I have in there that have not seen the light of day. What a waste! Even though I’ll donate all that I clear out to a neighborhood charity, I had to sit and ponder why. Why did I buy these items in the first place?

I find it upsetting that the world’s #1 richest person is from a developing country. Mexico’s Carlos Slim Helu tops the list with a net worth of 53.5 billion dollars. He made his money in the telecom business. He has control of just about everything in Mexico.

Give us your poor, your tired, your huddled masses longing to be free…..Oh, and don’t forget a few billion dollars to aid Haiti, Chile and Africa. Afghanistan could use a few billion from us even though they don’t respect our country. Remember, we are the spoiled Americans who always step up and save the day for other countries who can’t save themselves. While some of these countries are deserving of our help, I am sick and tired of us helping everyone else when our government needs to help us with our financial crisis.
