Haitians are still displaced; without running water, food, and electricity. There’s a 90% unemployment rate. Tarp and tents communities collapse from heavy rain, imagine what will happen if a hurricane hits.

I was watching the evening news the other night and heard about a teenage boy who went inside his home to get a gun because his Mother was in the driveway fighting with her boyfriend. He then went outside and murdered the boyfriend. We hear things like this all the time on the news.

On September 8th President Obama is speaking with students across America.  How do you feel about this?  Are you outraged or confused by the controversy?  We want to hear from you!

What has happened to the airline industry? The quality of service has gone down the tubes. No wonder the airlines are losing so much money. If they can’t handle customer service, how can they manage their own business? It’s bad enough that they are late all the time but when they can’t help a fellow passenger, I draw the line.

At the present moment, I am livid and frustrated. The reason? Grotesquely poor customer service. My cable went out Saturday afternoon. I called to have a technician come out and was told it would take three days for the first available technician. What could I do but wait the three days. I sat in a three hour window of limbo this morning until he arrived.

My days begin and end with facebook. This is not good. What started as a harmless way to connect with friends has turned into hours of wasted time. Don’t get me wrong, I love facebook. What a great way to stay in touch with friends and reconnect with high school and college buddies.
