While reading AllYou magazine, I discovered these web sites that allow you to contribute to a cause by simply clicking on certain icons.  These donations by simply visiting these pages are free. Check them out and help others throughout the year:

www.FreeRice.com  A fun way to test your vocabulary while crediting each correct answer by donating 10 grains of rice through the UN World Food Program to help stop world hunger. In 2008 alone, this site donated more than 43 Billion grains of rice!

www.TheBreastCancerSite.com  Look for the pink button on the site, click once a day and each day the site sponsors send funds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Their donations go towards paying for free mammograms for women who can’t afford them.

www.Stopviolence.care2.com    Select the button that says ‘click to donate. It’s 100% free’ up to once a day.  each time you do so the site sponsors donate  to Amnesty International’s Stop Violence Against Women campaign.

For the time that it takes to check your facebook updates, you can give to others and help save the world!
