Why Do I Clean Out My Closet So Often?
August 25, 2010 – 11:35 am | No Comment

One of the previous articles submitted inspired me to step into my closet once again and clear out some of the items that I have in there that have not seen the light of day. What a waste! Give Them a Voice

There are many charities that are asking for our help these days.  Here is one for you to consider when opening up your checkbook.  Partners, Ivanka Trump and Elizabeth Gore, have joined forces to launch Girl Up, a campaign to get women here involved with girls from developing countries without leaving home.

“While girls in the United States are more educated, socially connected, and empowered than ever before, many girls in developing countries still struggle for the opportunity to go to school, see a doctor, or be included in their communities.”

By joining Girl Up, a campaign of the United Nations Foundation, you can become a powerful force of change uniting girls to change the world!

A gift of $5 (called High Five)  can buy supplies a girl in an developing country needs to attend school,  enabling them to learn new skills, build their self esteem and reinvest in their own communities.  To find out more check out www.girlup.org.
